The theme is "New sweets made with local ingredients that can be eaten while walking." Developed by five high school students studying tourism, galettes made with plenty of local buckwheat flour and apples are on sale.
Five high school students from Achi Village have developed and begun selling a galette that makes use of local ingredients.
Incorporating local specialties, they used local buckwheat flour for the dough and local apples and other fruits for the ingredients.
The theme was "a new sweet using local ingredients that can be eaten on the go," and the commercialization of the product was driven by a sense of appreciation for the local community.
The galette has been on sale at tourist centers in the village since the 25th.
