On their first visit to Japan, Latvians Kristaps and Raima enjoyed Japanese food while traveling around Japan on their six-week honeymoon.
They were especially fascinated by sushi and enjoyed it every day during their stay in Tokyo.
Although sushi is available in Latvia, they say it is different from the simple Japanese nigirizushi, a style of sushi with many ingredients rolled up.
They have enjoyed a variety of sushi, from conveyor-belt sushi to high-end restaurants, and rave about the taste of Japan.
