Sota Fujii (20) was ranked No.1 for the first time with 122.25 million yen, up from No.3 the previous year.

Fujii won his first Ryuoh title the year before last, and last year he also took the Ousho title at the beginning of the year, becoming the youngest player to win five titles. After that, he defended his titles in the Eio, Hulic Cup Kisei, and O-dai tournaments.
